Once you push this button, the ASIO4ALL control screen should show up. How this key is labeled depends on your particular software. There right now should end up being a switch to start the ASIO control board. Am I missing something I apologize if this is a stupid question, I am new to Pro Tools. Usually, you would usually enter the sound configuration menus and go for ASIO -gt ASI04ALL v2. With NI Combos ASIO4ALL audio was working well (with input and output), but with cubasis only input was available. Now, whenever I try to playback something in Pro Tools I can't hear any audio.when I go into the settings for Asio4all it shows a red 'X' by the output and says 'Unavailable'. Oh sorry, I posted the WASAPI method, because I faced similar problems with ASIO and found that WASAPI and Reaper are very stable together on W10. This problem was fixed by installing Asio4all V2. I am going to try and lower the samples from 512 to 128 and see what happens. I also just found this thread: which is similar to what I am experiencing, so I guess there is no real fix. I did look into using the WASAPI method and when I select my Alesis Audio Interface as the Input, Reaper doesn't show the individual line ins for each output from the audio interface all it shows is ReaRoute 1-16 So the issue is when I use Reaper for a while, stop recording, start recording, playback, etc, the audio will start to go scratchy/distorted. So I am not using the WASAPI method, I am using ASIO.
